My name is Tre Knobbe. I’m a 24-year-old Certified Public Accountant based in Ankeny, Iowa with a passion for helping individuals and small business owners build strong financial foundations. I graduated from Iowa State University in May 2024 and completed all required CPA exams in September 2024 before beginning my career in public accounting audit the following month. After gaining hands-on experience and completing the required professional hours, I officially earned my CPA license in July 2025.

Growing up in the Carroll area taught me the value of hard work, relationships, and community. Today, I bring those same values into my accounting practice by focusing on personalized service, clear communication, and practical financial guidance. I currently live in Ankeny and proudly serve clients throughout the Des Moines Metro as well as back home in western Iowa.

In addition to accounting, I also own Knobbe Car Detailing, which gives me firsthand experience with the challenges and opportunities that come with running a small business. Because of that, I understand what business owners are really looking for — not just someone to file taxes, but a trusted advisor who understands the day-to-day realities of entrepreneurship. My wife, Molly Knobbe, also owns her own business, Molly Rose Esthetics, so supporting entrepreneurs is something that’s deeply personal to me.
